Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide directly: your name and email when you request a portfolio analysis; the financial data you enter; and the receipts or statements you scan. The app does not require an account, and we do not collect analytics, tracking identifiers or device usage data.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide the app's features — including AI receipt extraction, portfolio tracking, market insights and the human-reviewed portfolio analysis you request — to process subscriptions, and to reply to a request you send us.

3. AI Processing

Receipt and statement images and related data may be processed by automated systems, including third-party AI providers acting on our behalf (currently OpenRouter), to extract merchants, items and totals. This data is used to provide the Spending features and is not sold to third parties.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app (under confidentiality obligations), with the team member who prepares the analysis you request, or when required by law. When you request a portfolio analysis, your name, email, note and chosen delivery date are relayed to that team member through Telegram, a third-party messaging service.

To show live prices, the app requests market quotes directly from Yahoo Finance (for the stock tickers you track) and CoinGecko (for the crypto coins you track). These requests carry only the ticker or coin symbols — never your name, balances or any other personal information.

When you open a news story, the app asks Bull Holder's server to fetch the article's public text from the publisher so it can be summarized on your device. That request carries only the article's public URL — no personal information — and the text is not stored.

5. Family Sharing

If you choose to share a pot with family members, your expenses, holdings and goals are synced through Apple iCloud (CloudKit) under your and your family's iCloud accounts. Apple acts as the storage and sync infrastructure for that shared data — it never passes through Bull Holder's servers. Every member of the pot can view, add, edit and delete the shared records. Subscriptions are shared separately, through Apple Family Sharing, and are not part of this data-sharing feature.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain the data you send us only as long as needed to provide the feature you used, and protect it with industry-standard technical and organizational measures. You may request deletion of any data you have sent us at any time. "Reset profile" in the app wipes your data on this device and in your iCloud. If you left a family pot, shared records are removed from your device but remain in the rest of the family's iCloud, where they follow Apple's iCloud retention rather than Bull Holder's. If the owner stopped sharing, only the owner keeps the records — every other participant loses access to them.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email.
